The X-H2 features an electronic shutter speed of up to 1/180,000 second, an increase of approximately 2.5 stops over other X series models, making it easier to use fast lenses to open wide in bright environments or to freeze action in split-second bursts.

160MP with Pixel Shift Multi Shot

The X-H2 is the first X series camera to feature the Pixel Shift Multi Shot function, which uses the camera's in-body image stabilization system to shift the sensor by half a pixel to capture 20 images, which are then combined using the Pixel Shift Combiner software to produce a 160-megapixel image with each pixel containing all three color information.

8K/30P 4:2:2 10bit internal rec.

The X-H2 can record high-resolution video at 8K/30P, selecting Apple ProRes HQ quality when recording to CFexpress Type B and H.265 4:2:2 10bit when recording to UHS-II U3 SD cards, as well as ProRes RAW and BlackMagic RAW quality via the HDMI type A output.

It can also record high-quality high-speed video at FULL HD at 240P with 4:2:2 10bit quality and play in Slow Motion up to 10 times.

The X-H2 can also record video with 19 Film Simulation modes, or choose high-quality F-Log2 recording with up to 13 stops of dynamic range, allowing for efficient color grading in post-production.
