The XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR is a telephoto zoom lens with a maximum aperture of F2.8. It features a fast and quiet autofocus system that tracks every movement. It also comes with a 5.0-stop image stabilization system, allowing you to take sharp, blur-free photos even with camera shake. The Nano-GI coating on the lens is used to control flare, making it possible to take photos against the light or in bright light. It can create beautiful bokeh and is dustproof, moisture-proof, and weatherproof, and can be used even in temperatures as low as -10°C.
Time to control
Up to 5 stops*1 in-lens image stabilization is available, and up to 6 stops*1 when attached to a camera equipped with In-Body Image Stabilizer (IBIS). At the lens's full zoom, at 140mm, the minimum shutter speed at which handheld shooting is possible is 1/125 sec. to prevent camera shake. With the in-lens image stabilization, shutter speeds of up to 1/4 sec. are possible! Focus on your subject and enjoy creative freedom by selecting from a wider range of shutter speeds. You can benefit in low light by not needing to increase ISO sensitivity or use a tripod.
